Patel

Dr. Patel is a clinical informaticist whose expertise is in machine learning and interoperability. Most recently, he was at Google where he was developing technologies to extract clinical insights from electronic medical records to help healthcare providers efficiently understand complex patient histories. He contributes a deep understanding of the healthcare and technology ecosystem with experiences at Atropos Health, Mayo Clinic, Geisinger, and McKinsey. He received his MD and MPH from Johns Hopkins University, completed internal medicine residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center, and a clinical informatics fellowship at Stanford University. He has practiced hospital medicine at Kaiser Permanente, Sutter, and Stanford Healthcare. He currently also serves on the board of directors of AMDIS.
