Brian Lo is a Senior IM/IT Business Analyst and Project Lead in Clinical Informatics at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH). Brian also holds an appointment as the Quality Improvement Lead in Information Services at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids). In his role at CAMH, Brian brings an evidence lens towards implementing, optimizing and evaluating interventions to support clinician use of digital health tools. Currently, he leads the development and implementation of the Physician Use Metrics Dashboard, which guides physicians in improving efficiency with use of the EHR. In addition, he supports the optimization of the Patient Portal Program and advocates for the implementation of novel digital tools (e.g. OpenNotes) to support patient care and empowerment. He has received several awards and scholarships throughout his professional career, and most recently from Digital Health Canada (2021 Steven Huesing Scholarship) and the University of Toronto (Kevin J. Leonard Award for Digital Health).
