David Houlding – currently serves as Director, Global Healthcare Business Strategy at Microsoft where he leads the development of strategic capabilities and solutions across the provider, payer, and life sciences segments of healthcare. worldwide. This includes guiding optimal healthcare use of cloud, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments to achieve the healthcare quintuple aims, while ensuring privacy, security, and compliance. David currently leads the healthcare compliance scale program for Microsoft Cloud for Healthcare. With 28+ years across healthcare segments he has deep experience and expertise in cloud computing (including hybrid and multi-cloud), privacy, security, compliance, blockchain, and AI / ML. David also previously served as Director, Strategic & Healthcare Engagements at Microsoft within the Commercial Marketplace team where he led an expert team focused on key strategic and healthcare partners of Microsoft to guide and accelerate them with Azure, transacting cloud solutions on Azure Marketplace, and GTM partnership with Microsoft to scale worldwide. David recently served for 2 years as Chair of the HIMSS Blockchain Task Force, and prior to Microsoft served for over 10 years at Intel as Director of Healthcare Privacy & Security. He has a proven innovation track record with 5 patents granted by the USPTO. David currently holds the CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), and CIPP (Certified Information Privacy Professional) credentials, and has a Master of Applied Science in Data Compression and Digital Signal Processing from Simon Fraser University, Canada.
