Dr Rohini Omkar Prasad is a Senior Digital Health Advisor at HIMSS, where she supports healthcare providers in their digital transformation journeys. She is passionate about leveraging the power of technology to engage with populations, creating strong connections and proactive communication between providers and patients to bridge gaps and improve outcomes. Prior to this, Rohini managed global engagements with international healthcare clients, from the conceptualization to delivery and execution of public health research projects at Economist Impact. Rohini has also worked in the public sector and academic domains where she has had years of experience developing and managing transformative public health and strategic research programs. Rohini holds a degree in medicine from St John’s Medical College in India and graduated with a Master’s degree in Public Health from Harvard University in 2010.
