Dr. Jennifer Gaudet Hefele is a Senior Scientist in Booz Allen Hamilton’s Civil Services Group, a role in which she provides consulting services to Government agencies related to health care, quality, and social science research. Dr. Gaudet Hefele provides methodological subject matter expertise related to research and analytic design, measurement, data collection, and analysis of racial and ethnic disparities. She also provides content expertise in the areas of long-term services and supports, post-acute care, patient satisfaction/experience, and patient perspectives/preferences. Dr. Gaudet Hefele has over 15 years of experience in health services research, health policy analysis, healthcare industry research, quality and performance measurement, and econometric analysis. She received her M.A. in Economic and Social Development from UMass Lowell and her Ph.D. in Social Policy with a concentration in health policy from the Heller School of Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University. She also worked at a private research firm, providing research and consulting services to commercial clients on the intersection of healthcare and technology. Her work has been published in key health services and aging journals, including Health Affairs, Medical Care, Health Services Research, and The Gerontologist. Prior to joining Booz Allen Hamilton, Dr. Gaudet Hefele has worked in a variety of settings, including academia and university-based research organizations, where she conducted studies examining the impact of policies, interventions, and market changes on quality of care for older adults.
