In this role, Mr. Newton is responsible for all global operations of HIMSS Analytics, a leading healthcare IT market research and analytics firm. Blain has nearly 20 years of experience in the healthcare technology industry, holding leadership roles in finance, product strategy, and operations around the world at companies including IDX Systems Corporation, GE Healthcare, Allscripts, and Arthur Andersen. Mr. Newton has been at HIMSS Analytics since 2012 following the acquisition by HIMSS of the market research firm CapSite, where he served as CEO.

Within HIMSS, Smith leads HIMSS’s cause-based association. Focused primarily on the US and Canada, Smith leverages her extensive experience in nonprofit management to ensure HIMSS’s ability to achieve its mission and maintain its financial health.
