What three core competencies do you possess that will benefit the Nominating Committee?

I have well-established connections and relationships across the healthcare industry, with a fresh perspective generated by my work with connected health, mHealth, and participatory medicine. This will enable me to help recruit diverse and innovation-oriented candidates to the NA HIMSS Board.

Previous experience serving on and leading non-profit boards enables me to appropriately assess candidates’ understanding of the board roles and the requirements of effective board service.

My leadership and consulting experience has provided me with strong skills in interviewing, listening, and assessing candidates’ interpersonal skills and as a measure of their “fit” with existing board members and other candidates.
