HIMSS Analytics Stage 7 Awards: Leveraging HIT for Success

HIMSS Analytics Adoption Model for Analytics Maturity (AMAM)

The HIMSS Analytics AMAM is designed to measure and advance an organization’s analytics capabilities. This international eight-stage (0-7) model measures the capabilities an organization has gained from installation of technology and surrounding processes.

The following organizations achieved the AMAM Stage 7 validation, introduced in 2018.

HIMSS Analytics Electronic Medical Record Adoption Model (EMRAM)

The HIMSS Analytics EMRAM incorporates methodology and algorithms to automatically score hospitals around the world relative to their electronic medical records capabilities. This eight-stage (0-7) model measures the adoption and utilization of electronic medical record functions.

The HIMSS Analytics O-EMRAM incorporates methodology and algorithms to score clinics on the maturity of their electronic medical record environments. This eight-stage (0-7) model tests for clinician documentation, including orders, e-prescribing, patient engagement and population health analytics.
