Key Players in Healthcare Form Programme Committee for HIMSS25 Europe in Paris

In an effort to drive forward digital health transformation in the region, 17 thought leaders joined the Programme Committee for the 2025 HIMSS European Health Conference & Exhibition, taking place from 10-12 June, 2025, in Paris.  

The committee brings together expert insights and connections to proactively shape a high-quality conference agenda and experience that will support the exchange of best practice and address the key healthcare challenges and concerns of the region. 

Members of this year’s Programme Committee hail from different areas of Europe, including France, Italy, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. All committee members represent different facets of the healthcare ecosystem, with individuals representing nurses, frontline clinicians, patients, corporate members and health agencies.  

Dr. Mette Maria Skjøth, chief administrative officer for Odense University Hospital in Denmark, nurse and member of the HIMSS Nordic Community, will take part of the 2025 Programme Committee.  

“I am delighted to be part of the Programme Committee for HIMSS Europe 2025 in Paris and to share my knowledge on thought leadership, digital transformation and patient engagement to ensure a groundbreaking program for the conference,” she said.  

The Programme Committee includes other members such as Clara Morlière, director of digital health programs in hospitals, French Ministry of Health, France; Sandrine Degos, chief executive officer, Care Insight, France; Marco Foracchia, chief information officer, Azienda USL di Reggio Emilia IRCCS & Vice President, AISIS, Italy; Dr. Susan Broster, executive director of innovation, Digital and Improvement, Consultant Neonatologist and with PaNDR, Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, United Kingdom; Dr. Dimitri Varsamis, strategy advisor, United Kingdom and Dr. Myriam Fernández Martín, head of health innovation, Amazon Web Services, Spain. 

HIMSS25 Europe will take place at the Palais de Congrès in Paris. The conference expects to draw speakers, exhibitors and attendees from more than 80 countries to share ideas and innovations that will shape the future of healthcare in the EU and beyond.
