Louisiana Eliminates Out-of-State Telemedicine Requirements

On June 20th,  Louisiana Governor Bel Edwards signed HB 570,  a bill that eliminates the requirement that providers have a physical office in the state to practice medicine, as well as changes the definition of telemedicine—which describes the practice as "two-way video and audio transmissions." – Enactment of this legislation  will give providers the option to choose video or audio, or both.
