National Academies Hosting June 6-7 Workshop on Electronic Data Capabilities in Medical Countermeasure Use

On June 6-7, the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine will host “Building a National Capability to Monitor and Assess Medical Countermeasure Use in Response to Public Health Emergencies: A Workshop” in Washington, DC. Through a series of interactive sessions, workshop panelists and participants with expertise in electronic health data capabilities, clinical networks, unstructured/big data, and operations for response will discuss the advantages and challenges in building and maintaining a national medical countermeasure monitoring and assessment capability for public health emergencies.
