The National Health Information Sharing and Analysis Center (NH-ISAC) announced this week that it is utilizing the Prevalent Synapse platform as well as additional risk assessment services for the third-party risk management element of its mission to protect the nation’s critical healthcare infrastructure from physical and cyber threats. The platform will work with NH-ISAC’s CYBERFIT vendor network.
As background, CYBERFIT is a network of healthcare organizations and their vendors that have come together to ease the burden of third-party risk management and compliance, encourage best security practices, and ultimately reduce the risk of cyber and other successful attacks to the US healthcare industry.
CYBERFIT members leverage the Prevalent Synapse software platform, its questionnaire collection services, and the third-party risk expertise of Churchill & Harriman to consume answers to the CYBERFIT Survey provided by their chosen vendors. CYBERFIT Members simply have to provide a list of their vendors to Prevalent, and with a few clicks, add completed CYBERFIT Surveys for those vendors to their Synapse environments. If vendors are not already in the CYBERFIT Network, Prevalent will add them in about 30 days at no cost to the requesting Member.
