On Tuesday, March 14 through Wednesday, March 15, 2017, the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT (ONC), in collaboration with the Chamber of Digital Commerce, will host a health standards and data innovation Code-A-Thon at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.
Code-A-Thon participants will develop applications and solutions utilizing blockchain technology that enhance interoperability and address key issues in the nation’s health care system. Participants must focus their innovative concepts on the following three health IT tracks; Identity Management and APIs; Metadata Tagging and Policy Expression; and Data Aggregation and Linkage. Winners will be announced on the second day of the event and will be awarded up to $15,000.
