The National Health IT Forum

The National Health IT Forum (FORKOMTIKNAS) was established on October 28, 2020, in the same spirit as the historical Indonesian Youth Oath (Sumpah Pemuda), which inspired young Indonesians in 1928 to build Indonesia as a nation. The National Health IT Forum promotes community-level usage of health information technology to improve the data quality of National One Health Data. The Forum recognizes that the One Health Data will become a reality if data is collected properly and punctually at the individual-level data, which is the lowest possible level. Furthermore, the advancement of health IT is correlated with a growth in human capital, a favorable regulatory environment, and organizational preparedness. The Forum invites all stakeholders in health IT, at the grassroots, to work together to improve critical components of the health IT environment. The Forum welcomes participation from various stakeholders, including individuals representing central and local governments, information technology institutions, healthcare providers, professionals, public society, and other organizations. One of the most significant activities in collaboration via the exchange of knowledge and experience results in creating a Knowledge Management that is made available to the general public.
