What We Do

TIGER Scholars Workgroup

TIGER (Technology Informatics Guiding Education Reform) Scholars Workgroup, as part of the TIGER Interprofessional Community provides a forum for sharing knowledge about state of the art approaches and best practices within the academic informatics community to both inform and enhance current educational practices. Resources and tools offered by the TIGER Scholars Workgroup are intended for all informatics educators, with a targeted focus on those who may not have previous informatics specialization. The workgroup models proactive collaboration and engagement with other professional organizations that support health informatics educators. Workgroup members share the critical value of aligning and synchronizing collective efforts to improve the informatics educator and student experience through presentations at conferences and workshops.
