Jorge Cortell is the founder & CEO of Kanteron Systems. His educational background includes studies at several universities: Oxford (Computing), MIT (EDP), Harvard (first Neurobiology), ESADE (Int. Business), University of Valencia (Medical Genomics). He has been Visiting Professor in two universities, guest Lecturer in 60 universities, pro basketball player and member of the European Commission Expert Group on Venture Philanthropy and Social Investments. Some awards he has received include "Microsoft Healthcare Digital Heroes", “IBM Healthcare & Lifesciences Worldwide Beacon”, "Frost & Sullivan Technology Innovation Award", “Wall Street Journal Academic Achievement”, or "Best Clinical Scientific presentation at DPA".
