Marie Ennis-O’Connor is a Stanford Medicine X e-Patient scholar and an external advisory board member of the Mayo Clinic Social Media Network and the Beryl Institute Global Patient and Family Advisory Board.
Marie’s work is focused on developing ways for healthcare stakeholders to work in partnership with patients to co-create a more person-centered model of care.
Urging healthcare to move beyond the rhetoric of patient engagement to operational implementation, she brings key industry stakeholders together to engage with each other in meaningful ways. Her work is informed by a passion for embedding the patient voice at the heart of healthcare systems.
