Rebecca Messing Haigler, Verily Life Sciences (an Alphabet Company) Health Economics, Value & Access Lead is responsible for Health Economics, Value Based Care Models and Market Access of clinical platforms at Verily Life Sciences. She has over 16 years of experience working with healthcare payers, providers and suppliers to navigate the complex delivery system landscape towards population health management and generate strategic value.

Messing Haigler previously directed Northern California Accountable Care Organizations at Blue Shield of California managing more than 55,000 covered lives. Partnering with key strategic providers, she designed innovative ACO expansion models in new product lines, regions and care delivery programs.

In addition, Messing Haigler was responsible for leading the Strategy Practice at the Chartis Group, a consulting advisory firm dedicated to health systems, provider groups and payers. She was also formerly a director of analytics at Sg2 Healthcare Intelligence.

Messing Haigler earned dual graduate degrees from UC Berkeley, an MBA and an MPH in Health Policy Management. She received her Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Michigan. Messing Haigler lives in San Francisco and enjoys spending time with her family in the Bay Area.
