Variations in quality of clinical documentation exist despite real-time clinical documentation using structured clinical charts and electronic health records. Need for high quality clinical documentation is imperative. However, standardized tool for evaluating quality of clinical documentation still work in progress. A comparative analysis of tools developed for assessing quality of clinical documentation using evidence-based criteria to compare metrics across these tools and select standardized tool will be presented.
