HIMSS, a global advisor and thought leader in health information and technology, announced today the appointment of Georgia Galanoudis, Executive Vice President of Media.
In her role, Galanoudis will lead HIMSS’s media division that develops products and services including brand awareness, demand generation, account-based marketing, content marketing, events, research, HIMSS TV, HIMSS Learning Center, Healthcare IT News, Healthcare Finance News, MobihealthNews.
Galanoudis began her career in publishing in consumer marketing and moved quickly into the discipline of custom publishing solutions, building a specialized team within Time Inc. and later at Meredith to address unique marketing and business needs for clients. In 2012, she took her direct marketing, branded content and client service acumen into content marketing, advertising and brand agency environments.
Throughout her broad agency experience — driving business development at MXM (now Accenture), contributing to the then start-up Imprint and most recently managing the strategy practice at data-led agency Rauxa — she’s orchestrated the strategy and execution of a diverse set of sales and content engagement programs for a variety of brands.
