Digital Dialogue Series: Supporting the Frontline -Leveraging connected care to empower this and our next generation of healthcare workers

We are all grateful for every single doctor and nurse working tirelessly to fight the current outbreak. But, being grateful is not enough.

While facing workforce shortages and a quasi-general burnout situation, COVID-19 only exacerbated an already critical situation for many health systems around the world. We need to improve the working lives of doctors and nurses now by providing a work environment that protects them, supports their workflows, and empowers them to provide the best quality of care even in the most challenging conditions. Beyond the current crisis, connecting care will be essential for future generations of health professionals to meet the growing and increasingly complex demands of tomorrow´s healthcare. We need to act today to prepare for the future. Convening health and technology leaders from the Middle East and beyond, this session will present powerful technology initiatives that lay an innovative foundation for improved working conditions in healthcare.

Learning objectives:

● Understand how an already critical situation facing health systems and their workforces is at risk of getting worse in the future

● Explore ways that technology can help create an environment that supports and empowers health professionals while promoting wellness in the workplace

● Examine how COVID-19 fast-tracked innovations will continue to play a critical role in delivering quality care in the future
