Digital Transformation Forum I: Hospital Best Practices

One of the main lessons learned from COVID-19 is the pressing need to accelerate the digital maturity of our health systems to continue improving the health of our citizens and but also to be better prepared to respond adequately to future public health crises. What are the common challenges and how do we overcome these challenges through information and technology? How do we define a digitally mature hospital or health system? Do we really have a good picture of what success looks like? But most importantly how do we efficiently benchmark providers’ progress toward digital maturity?

Part 1: Focus on Stage 7 Hospitals: Luisiadas (PT), Vimercate (IT), Radboud (NL), Chase Farm (UK)

This first episode will share exemplary best practices from some of the leading hospitals in the European region, highlighting lessons learned, and how HIMSS maturity models have supported their efforts by understanding their starting position and guiding the creation of roadmaps for their digital transformation journeys. A final panel discussion with representatives from Italy, Netherlands, UK and other countries will provide valuable insights into common challenges and trends when advancing in hospital digital adoption.
