Driving Innovation - Co-Innovating to Redesign the Patient Experience

Co-innovation has proven to be key in creating high-impact digital solutions to redesign and transform the patient experience, leading to improved clinical and financial outcomes. Harnessing the power of technologies like mHealth, telehealth or connected health, innovators are striving to improve the patient journey, but often fail to involve the end user from the design stage. In this session, we will hear from a healthcare entrepreneur and a frontline clinician on their lessons learned and best practices in developing innovative, socially beneficial and sustainable solutions, keeping the patient front and centre throughout the process.

 Learning objectives:

  • Understand how critical it is to involve all stakeholders, and more specifically patients, in the co-design of new services aiming to improve care journeys

  • Examine co-designed innovations that truly work for both patients and care providers

  • Discuss how we can further personalize the provision of health and care technologies to relate more closely to the people hiding behind the patients
