Telehealth Community: Implementation Masterclass

COVID-19 has accelerated the adoption of telehealth around the world with inspiring results. This session will delve into the central role telehealth has played in the pandemic response with case studies sharing valuable lessons on implementation from Scotland, Italy, the US and more. Our speakers will share the challenges and solutions of large-scale and fast-tracked deployments, with practical advice for hospitals planning their response to a second peak or a long tail. Learn about the clinical and economic impacts of telehealth, and explore how patients and clinicians’ attitudes towards telehealth are rapidly changing. This highly practical session will also highlight some of the most inspirational case studies of telehealth worldwide, drawing from a database of more than 300 articles on telemedicine solutions in hospital settings.

Learning Objectives:

  • Learn how to scale up telehealth.
  • Recognise telehealth solutions, beyond teleconsultation, to deliver and make improvements to care.
  • Discover evidence based and effective telemedicine interventions, identifying relevant studies.
