Global Consortium Receives Grant to Improve Healthcare Workforce IT Skills
With burgeoning global demand for skilled healthcare workers, the HIMSS Foundation joins other members of the EU*US eHealth Work Consortium to address the need, development and deployment of workforce IT skills, competencies and training programs. This new 18-month project, spanning from September 2016 to February 2018, is being funded from the European Commission’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation grant program, which awarded just under $600,000 dollars to the EU*US eHealth Work Consortium.
