HIMSS Honors 2015 Award and Scholarship Recipients
Recognizing outstanding contributions to HIMSS and the healthcare industry, HIMSS named its 2015 award and scholarship recipients. The HIMSS Foundation and three HIMSS chapters provided seven scholarships to students enrolled in health IT and management systems degree programs. We would like to congratulate Mary Beth Mitchell, MSN, RN, BC, CPHIMS, for recipient of the Nursing Informatics Leadership Award, Brian Yeaman, MD, recipient of the Physician IT Leadership Award, Susan K. Newbold, PhD, RN-BC, FAAN, FHIMSS, for receiving the Chapter Leader of the Year Award and to all of the award and scholarship recipients for their achievement and for the use of skills to improve health and healthcare through the use of IT.
