FDA User Fees Reauthorization Discussion Draft Released
Under the new draft agreement, the FDA would see an increase of almost $400 million in user fees collected in the next fiscal year.

CMS Offers Meaningful Use-Related Changes in the FY 2018 IPPS Proposed Rule
On Friday, April 14, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) released the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking for the Fiscal Year (FY) 2018 Hospital Inpatient Prospective Payment System (IPPS), which includes changes to the calendar year (CY) 2017 and 2018 Medicare and Medicaid Electronic Health Record (EHR) Incentive Program Requirements for Eligible Hospitals (EHs), Critical Access Hospitals (CAHs), and Eligible Professionals (EPs).
