ONC Changes Stance on DeSalvo Departure; Stakeholders Weigh In

ONC Announces November 5th Webinar on Informatics and the Role and Response to the Ebola Event
The webinar is geared toward CNIOs, CMIOs, developers, and nursing informaticians, and will provide for the opportunity to hear “lessons learned from the field” from the Texas Health Resources team about their response to the Ebola event.

CMS Finalizes CY 2015 Home Health PPS Rule with Language on EHR Use
The rule includes payment system details that the agency expects will foster greater efficiency, flexibility, payment accuracy, and improved quality.

Final Medicare Payment Rules Soon to Be Released
The final rules are expected to for publication in the Federal Register on either October 1 or during the week of November 3.
