Danish Health Minister to Deliver Keynote at the 2013 mHealth Summit
Danish Member of Parliament and Minister for Health and Prevention, Astrid Krag, will deliver a keynote address on Day 2 of the upcoming mHealth Summit. During her time as a Member of Parliament, Krag has served as party spokesperson on issues such as immigration, citizenship, and care for the elderly. In June 2013, the Minister announced a new national digitalization strategy for the Danish Health Care Sector emphasizing on the continued uptake of eHealth in health care delivery and increased use of telemedicine including mobile health solutions. The mHealth Summit, the largest mobile health event in the world and brings together providers, leaders, influencers and visionaries in wireless and mobile health delivery system technologies and integration as well as those in different stages of this transition to discuss hands-on strategies, examine success stories, and explore challenges and innovations. ONC's Chief Security Officer Joy Pritts to Speak at Privacy & Security Forum
Joy Pritts, Chief Security Officer of the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) will take part in a 45 live interview with Healthcare IT News Managing Editor Mike Miliard at the Privacy & Security Forum on Tuesday, September 24, in Boston.
