Health and Human Services (HHS) Deputy Secretary Eric Hargan announced the initial core participants of the Deputy Secretary’s Innovation and Investment Summit (DSIIS) and set Dec. 18 as the date of the first meeting.  Healthbox, a HIMSS Innovation Company, is proud to facilitate the discussion between healthcare innovation and investment professionals and HHS personnel. With a growing imperative to better serve their patients, providers are turning to customer relationship management (CRM) technologies to manage the numerous relationships inherent in healthcare and to better communicate with their patients through multiple modalities (e.g., voice, video, text, apps). In this survey analysis, the HIMSS Exploring Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Technology for Healthcare Task Force assesses the current state of use of CRM in healthcare and the attitudes towards CRM technology in healthcare.
