Connected Health Conference Program Online Now
The 2016 Connected Health Conference will take place on Dec. 11-14, at the Gaylord National Resort in the Washington D.C. Area. This year's program will focus on the theme - Personal Connected Health for All: Expanding Reach, Accelerating Impact.

Join Us for a Hackathon & Tutorial at FHIR Developer Days 2016
PCHA will lead a Developer Track at HL7 FHIR Developer Days 2016 in Amsterdam, Nov. 16-18. The track, “Continua: Personal Health Devices and Applications” will pose a hackathon challenge, deploying use cases in health, medicine and fitness to create solutions for transferring, displaying and analyzing data from Continua-compliant devices to mHealth apps and clinical IT systems, using FHIR.

Checkout the IEEE Wireless Health Conference on October 25th - 27th
The Annual IEEE Wireless Health Conference series invites cutting edge wireless, connected and mobile health research from engineering, computer science, biomedical and health disciplines. The 2016 conference will be held Oct. 25-27, 2016 at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland.

IHE North American Connectathon

Big Data and Healthcare Analytics Forum keynotes announced
The Oct. 24-25 Big Data and Healthcare Analytics Forum announced its keynote speakers on the event website. Leonard D’Avolio, assistant professor in the Brigham and Women’s Division of General Internal Medicine and Primary Care; Joseph Doyle, associate professor of management at MIT Sloan School of Management who specializes in measuring returns in healthcare; Sree Chaguturu, vice president of Population Health Management at Partners HealthCare; and John Guttag, who currently heads MIT’s Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory’s Data Driven Inference Group. There is still time to register for this event.

Stimulating the Innovation Trajectory at the HIMSS Innovation Center
On Sept. 8, the HIMSS Innovation Center hosted a Goldman Sacks organization, 10,000 Small Business (10K SB) Alumni, for a creative networking session. All tenants and collaborators of the Global Center for Health Innovation and HIMSS Innovation Center were invited to participate. John Paganini, senior manager, interoperability initiatives, HIMSS North America, represented HIMSS during the meeting.
