Become a member of the HIE Community
The HIE Community serves as the central convening point for HIE professionals to share ideas, make connections, learn best practices and leverage opportunities in a collaborative virtual community.  Each quarter we host a 90 minute HIE Community Roundtable open to all HIMSS members that choose to be a part of the HIMSS Community. HIMSS members can join the community by updating their HIMSS Participations or by sending an e-mail to requesting to join.

ONC has released the final evaluation report for the State Health Information Exchange (HIE) Program [Executive Summary | Final Report]. This report provides a comprehensive overview of the planning, implementation, operation, key lessons, and impact of the State HIE Program. The program was created to enable rapid development of HIE across the nation, using tailored, state-level solutions.
