HIMSS Forms Strategic Alliance To Improve Data Exchange
HIMSS announced a new partnership with the EHR|HIE Interoperability Workgroup (IWG) and Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise USA (IHE USA) to launch an interoperability testing program that aims to simplify data exchange between electronic health records and health information exchanges across state lines. Read the full press release or attend the IHE North American Connectathon 2015 when the new certification program will officially open on Jan. 28, 2015 in Cleveland, Ohio at the HIMSS Innovation Center.

Registration for testing at this year's IHE North American Connectathon is up dramatically and over 30 percent of organizations registering are first-time participants.
