Vindell Washington, MD, Joining ONC as Principal Deputy National Coordinator; Mike McCoy, MD, leaving ONC and Returning to the Private Sector
There were two significant personnel announcements from the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT (ONC) this week: Vindell Washington, MD, will become the Principal Deputy National Coordinator for Health IT on January 25; and, Michael J. McCoy, MD, ONC’s Chief Health Information Officer, announced that he was leaving and returning to the private sector at the end of the month. Read full article.
