House Committees Begin Action on ACA Repeal and Replace Plan
The HIMSS Congressional Affairs team is closely monitoring repeal and replace efforts in both the House and Senate with a focus on potential impacts to health IT and value-based care policies.

Senate Commerce Committee Holds FCC Oversight Hearing
While the hearing primarily focused on a number of larger issues at the FCC, including net neutrality and privacy, it did touch on issues that have health IT implications.


GAO Accepting Nominations for Health IT Advisory Committee
All letters of nomination and resumes must be submitted by April 14, 2017 for an appointment starting July 2017.
