We are at a critical point on the path to healthcare transformation in the U.S. Policymakers want to know if we are making progress on health IT interoperability, so that the right information is available to the right person, at the right time, on the right device, in the right format to empower the right health decisions. National Health IT Week Leadership Award Nominations

Know a congressional, federal, or state leader who has been a champion for advancing health IT?  National Health IT Week is September 26-30, 2016.  HIMSS is accepting nominations for the HIMSS Health IT Leadership Awards to recognize federal, congressional leaders and state legislators who have made significant contributions to the advancement of health IT.

HIMSS is seeking nominations from HIMSS members for leaders who have a history of collaborating with HIMSS and our chapters; have a recent history of accomplishments in health IT, and is still actively engaged in government.  Send your nominations, along with a brief statement of how the nominee meets these criteria to   Submissions must be received by Friday, September 2, 2016
