CMS Proposes Rule for Home Health Agency EHRs
The rule would revise the conditions that home health agencies must meet to participate with the Medicare and Medicaid programs, including new potential requirements for EHRs.

CMS Re-opens Hardship Exception Applications; Adjust date to November 30, 2014
Previously, the hardship exception application deadline was April 1, 2014 for eligible hospitals and July 1, 2014 for eligible professionals.

CMS Reopens Hardship Exception Applications to Avoid the 2015 Medicare Payment Adjustment To November 30th  
In a news release sent out on Tuesday, October 7th, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services announced it would “reopen the submission period for hardship exception applications for eligible professionals and eligible hospitals to avoid the 2015 Medicare payment adjustments for not demonstrating meaningful use of Certified Electronic Health Record Technology (CEHRT).”
