Senate HELP Committee Votes to Advance Health IT Bill
The bill is intended to be part of the Committee’s larger innovation package (similar to 21st Century Cures which passed the House in July) and resulted from months of health-IT focused hearings and meetings with stakeholders to identify policies to improve usability and interoperability of electronic health records (EHRs).

Attestation Deadline for the EHR Incentive Programs Extended to March 11, 2016
Eligible professionals, eligible hospitals, and critical access hospitals (CAHs) participating in the Medicare EHR Incentive Program can attest through the CMS Registration and Attestation System.

CMS Extends Deadline for 2015 PQRS EHR Submission
Deadline has until March 11, 2016 to submit 2015 EHR data via QRDA.
