Patient Engagement Summit Call for Proposals Closes June 26
There's still time to submit a proposal for the HIMSS and Healthcare IT News Patient Engagement Summit, which will be presented Oct. 12-13 in San Diego. Submissions are due by June 26. The preferred submission will be a case study that demonstrates how a healthcare provider or payer has successfully engaged patients in their own care.
HIMSS Comments on CMS Meaningful Use Modifications
In a June 15 letter to Andrew Slavitt, the Acting Administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), HIMSS submitted its response to the CMS’s Electronic Health Record Incentive Program-Modifications to Meaningful Use in 2015 Through 2017 Notice for Proposed Rule Making (NPRM).
