Danny Sands named keynote for Patient Engagement Summit
Danny Sands, professor at the Harvard School of Medicine and co-founder of the Society for Participatory Medicine, will deliver the opening keynote at the HIMSS and Healthcare IT NewsPatient Engagement Summit, Oct. 12-13, San Diego. His address, “Partners in Care: Reimagining Healthcare”, will look at the exploding population of chronically ill and newly insured and address new care models – fueled by health IT and patient engagement – destined to replace traditional episodic care.

The call for HIMSS16 NI Poster Sessions has officially opened! Share your case studies, your perspectives and your contributions to Nursing Informatics. Submit a proposal by filling out a brief submission form. Submissions will close Oct. 1. Following a peer review selection process, selections will be announced Oct. 16.
