HIMSS Approved Education Partner (AEP) Program

In the Mar. 8 edition of the HIMSS Weekly Insider we introduced you once again to our HIMSS Approved Education Partner (AEP) Program. Today we start a series where we will highlight each of our current members. We begin with the first two programs that became Approved Education Partners; Belmont University in Nashville, TN and the University of Washington in Seattle, WA.

Innovation Matters

Citizens Share their Visions to Enrich Cleveland Area Community
Cleveland, Ohio, is a community where its citizens have the opportunity to pitch their ideas to enrich that place where they live. On Feb. 22, the HIMSS Innovation Center, at the Global Center for Health Innovation, welcomed over 400 individuals to present their ideas to enrich the Cleveland area community at the third annual Accelerate event, presented by the Cleveland Leadership Center. The first prize winner, Jeremy Langham, received $5,000 for his pitch of creating a brewpub that will donate portion of patrons’ checks to local social organizations. Learn more about the event.
