In an article published in Future Healthcare Today, Carla Smith, MA, FHIMSS, CNM, executive vice president, HIMSS North America, said, “At HIMSS, we truly believe patients reap the benefits of better healthcare through the best use of health IT, and there’s no better reflection of that than events like our inaugural Medical Capital Innovation Competition.” The HIMSS Innovation Center will host the first annual Medical Capital Innovation Competition on Apr. 25-26, in Cleveland, Ohio, at the Global Center for Health Innovation.
