Keynote speaker announced for IHE North American Leadership Conference
Michael J. McCoy, MD, FACOG, chief health information officer at the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) will be the opening keynote speaker at the IHE North American Leadership Conference on Jan. 27. The conference is part of IHE North American Connectathon Week 2016: five days of industry collaboration, interoperability testing and education taking place at the Cleveland Convention Center and HIMSS Innovation Center.

HIMSS Innovation Exchange

Revenue Cycle Solutions Summit: Call for proposals
HIMSS and Healthcare Finance are accepting topic and speaker proposals until Friday, Dec. 11 for the Revenue Cycle Solutions Summit, Feb. 29 in Las Vegas at HIMSS16 Annual Conference. The one-day event will dive into how healthcare IT supports the modern healthcare delivery system by providing the tools and solutions needed to drive improvement throughout the revenue cycle. Click here to submit your proposal and for additional information. The Summit focuses on peer-to peer education and delivers information to healthcare revenue cycle and finance professionals. Presentations should be practical, actionable, and solutions-based. Case studies are a priority for this event. Submissions from vendors are not accepted.

Share Your Opinion: Health Provider Readiness for Value-Based Payment Models
Healthcare providers in all settings can participate until Dec. 31 in the HIMSS Cost Accounting Survey an industry-leading effort aimed at gauging the readiness of providers to participate in value-based payment models.
