Data is Great, but Culture is Key, Northwestern Memorial's transformation
A six percent collection rate on co-pays at Northwestern Memorial served as the perfect impetus to change the collections process at the large Chicago-area healthcare system. But going from a $0.36 million to a $9 million-collection rate in five years wasn’t easy. Jennifer Andersson, Director of Admitting and Registration at Northwestern, will present at the Revenue Cycle Solutions Summit at HIMSS16 in Las Vegas on Feb. 29, to illustrate how the system cultivated not just data but culture to change their fortunes around.
