Cultivate Stronger Care Delivery with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Technology
We have an abundance of technology in healthcare, but we’re slow at knitting it together to maximize the value delivered to patients. In this blog, Sean Kennedy, MS, PMP, MPH, Chair of the HIMSS Exploring Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Technology for Healthcare Task Force, discusses the relationship gap in healthcare, CRM as a potential solution and the ongoing work by this Task Force.

Electronic Attachments Tell a Comprehensive Health Story
Anticipated Health and Human Services (HHS) regulations are expected to provide standards for electronic documents used as attachments to support reimbursement-related transactions. On February 5, a HIMSS Health Story Project Roundtable discussed the attachment standards: their usage, the business case for their adoption and their potential to move us closer to a patient-centered, longitudinal, electronic record - closer, that is, to a more complete “health story.”
