Canada Digital Health Week is an annual celebration and recognition of how digital health is transforming the delivery of care across Canada through faster, more efficient care, virtual visits and increased access to personal health information.


HIMSS’s efforts for digital health in Canada focus on three areas:

  1. To strengthen our Canada chapters (exciting announcement below)
  2. Support existing associations and initiatives in Canada
  3. Fill the digital health void.

HIMSS Welcomes Canadian Prairies Chapter

HIMSS is pleased to announce its 57th chapter, the Canadian Prairies Chapter of HIMSS. The Canadian Prairies Chapter proudly serves the provinces of Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. This is the second HIMSS Chapter in Canada, following the Ontario Chapter.
