HIMSS Healthcare & Cross-Sector Cybersecurity Report for October 2017
HIMSS just published the Oct. issue (Vol. 16) of the HIMSS Healthcare & Cross-Sector Cybersecurity Report. Highlights from this report include information on medical device security, Wi-Fi attacks, BadRabbit malware, advanced persistent threat (APT) campaigns, Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) attacks, and more. UPDATE: Recap of the EU*US eHealth Work Project Germany Stakeholder Meeting
On Tuesday, September 19th, members of the EU*US eHealth Work Project’s Consortium gathered in Oldenburg, Germany at the 62th Annual German Medical Informatics, Biometrics, and Epidemiology Society’s (GMDS) conference held at Oldenburg University to deliver a comprehensive workshop detailing the project. Furthermore, the workshop was dedicated to exploring education for digitalization from different perspectives and took the international viewpoint into account.

The event was organized by Ursula Hübner, University of Applied Sciences Osnabrück and TIGER Committee Co-Chair, in her role as member of the EU*US eHealth Work Project. Dr. Hübner invited guest speakers and made sure GMDS fully supported this workshop. Beth Elias, TIGER Committee Co-Chair, attended this meeting remotely and was joined by other TIGER members from around the world.
