Dr. Balkhair is a thought leader in the eHealth domain, combining the skills and knowledge of the clinical and business side along with the technical expertise and know-how, coupled with a strong leadership and managerial skills demonstrated through successful large-scale transformation endeavors over the past years. In his current role at the Ministry, Dr Balkhair is responsible for the strategy and the delivery of the digital health transformation in support of the Kingdom’s 2030 Vision and objectives. The eHealth initiative has over 150 programs & projects that include the automation and transformation of 20 Accountable Care Organizations, spreading across more than 280 hospitals and their related 2300 Primary Healthcare Care Centers.
