Monique is the Chief Technology and Security Officer (CTSO) at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). The CTSO is a blended role consisting of the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) responsibilities. Ms. St. John has the responsibility for technology strategy, implementation, and support services for a world-class pediatric healthcare system. Additionally, she is responsible for financial performance and management of $50M annual operating and capital budgets.
She is a collaborative leader with the ability to understand strategic business requirements, analyze needs holistically, and translate into actionable plans to deliver technology solutions successfully. She partners closely with clinical and business departments to ensure the voice of the customer is heard and technical solutions meet requirements, always asking what solution is in the best interest of patients, families, and CHOP.
