Saad Alshahrani received a medical degree (MBBS) from college of Medicine, King Faisal University-Dammam, Saudi Arabia, and then an MPH degree in focusing on health policies and strategic planning from Leeds University in the UK, and a Ph.D. degree in Epidemiology from University of Nebraska Medical Center in the USA. Currently, Dr. Alshahrani is the Chief of Population Health in the First Health Cluster, Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, Consultant of Epidemiology and Public Health at King Fahad Specialist Hospital in Dammam, and the Director of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the Research Center at KKMC. A strong advocate for clinical research and population health. He is a reviewer and Editorial Board Member of a peer-reviewed journal. Dr. Alshahrani is a member of the national expert group to address Population Health Management in the Healthcare Transformation of Saudi Arabia. His professional interest focuses on epidemiology, clinical research methodology, and population health management.
